Listen: The xx – “Sunset” (Jamie xx Edit)

GUYS.  Grab your boo and get your two-steppin’ shoes on ’cause Jamie xx just dropped a new edit of The xx and it’s time to groove! Actually he made an edit of his own band’s song, “Sunset”, from 2012′s Coexist album.   This new edit is clearly a reach for perfection and that’s quite alright with me.  He didn’t do too much to this one other than add a groovy bassline and a clubbier vibe.  The rest of “Sunset” is mostly intact, including the seductive voices of The xx vocalists, Romy and Oliver, who may or may not make you take off your clothes with this song.
